Red carpet events really are a year-round affair—and thank goodness for that. Last night was just another opportunity for celebrities to shine, and shine they did.

The GQ Men of the Year Awards brought stars out in droves, and in style. While we could never be asked to declare our favorite red carpet looks from the evening, we have a few that make our short list of best dressed. Here they are.

A LBD more than fit for the occasion. This strapless fringed number spoke of simple elegance—what could be better for a GQ red carpet?

Emma Chamberlain

Chamberlain, of course, went all out (when does she fail to?). She complemented her ultra-cool black leather jacket and matching briefs with a messy up-do and indoor sunglasses. Just the coolest.

Another incredible outfit, another person who we wouldn’t have expected anything less of. The color, the fit, the black detailing—it’s everything we could have hoped for.

The “Man of the Year” herself, Kardashian had to show up in her best, and she sure did. In a figure-hugging tan suede set that spoke of the most elevated fall fashion sense, the star glowed on the red carpet.

We have little to say about this besides, wow. The embossed black blazer and pant set would have been incredible all on its own. But with the hat? Game over.

Megan Fox

We’ve talked a lot about the red hair—it’s fabulous. And, in her first red carpet since debuting the new cut and color, Fox couldn’t have paired it with a better ’fit. A white sculptural mini? We wouldn’t mind owning one ourselves.
