This Has Got to Be the Longest Hair I've Ever Seen on Jessica Alba

Most celebrities — even the ones who experiment with the wildest colors and edgiest cuts — have a default hairstyle. But even though Jessica Alba isn't really one to go off the rails with shockingly different looks, her hair is definitely among the most dynamic in Hollywood. She's given us countless color/cut combos, from blonde bobs to long brunette layers. But in all of my years taking notes on the actor and entrepreneur's hairstyles (it's kind of my job), I don't think I've ever seen the combination she wore over the weekend.

On Saturday, November 11, Alba was one of a bevy of celebrities who attended the Baby2Baby Gala, which raises money for children living in poverty. She wore a stunning Tamara Ralph strapless couture gown, the floor-length design sparkling in crystals and paillettes. But her dress wasn't the only long thing she was wearing.

When Alba gave photographers profile poses on the green carpet, we could see that her sleekly straightened, middle-parted hair reached well past her waist — almost long enough to sit on.

A before-and-after video Alba posted within a carousel remembering the evening shows that she started out with hair reaching a couple of inches past her shoulders. Hairstylist Brittney Conkle did a masterful job matching gorgeous Covet & Mane hair extensions to Alba's medium golden-brown hair with the help of GHD tools and Unite products.

Oddly enough, the last time we saw Alba's hair anywhere near as long as it was this weekend was two years ago at the 2021 Baby2Baby Gala, then with a super-dark color.

Based on this emerging pattern, Jessica Alba's hair will be approximately knee-length at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala. Set your calendars.
