Good news: A group hug is the only way to start the day for these 5 brothers

Most people have a morning routine that helps get their day started on the right track. It could be a cup of coffee or catching up on the headlines in the USA TODAY Daily Briefing newsletter.

For the Evans family, the morning ritual always includes a group hug and sweet goodbyes between the five brothers of this blended family in the suburbs of Chicago.

Sam Evans is the biological dad to Tristan, 7, and Karter, 4. His fiancée Tateona is the biogical mom to Devin, 7, and Damari, 6. Together the couple has 2-year-old Josiah. Each day the brothers gather outside to send off Karter to pre-school before the older boys get on a different bus.

To add to the cuteness of it all, Tateona dresses the boys in matching clothes nearly every day. The Evans family shares their sweet famiy moments with their TikTok followers, hoping to bring some positivity to the world!
