Good dog breaks loose at ballgame, plays fetch with player
“Bark in the Park” days at baseball parks are glorious chaos, afternoons when fans bring their pups and enjoy a little baseball while trying to keep their four-legged pals from getting into any more trouble than they already do. But Wednesday night at the minor-league Tulsa Drillers game, things got even more fun than they usually do at Pup Night.
Go fetch!
Harold Kuntz, a sports anchor with KOTV in Tulsa, captured video of a German Shepherd not quite getting the point of infield warmups:
While at the (@TulsaDrillers) game .. dog night at the park .. one dog saw a ball .. and go figure. #Dogs pic.twitter.com/6ws99cEQqR

That’s pretty much perfect — the German Shepherd sees the ball, knows that balls are for fetching, and gets to it. Props to the third baseman for playing along. Plus, the dog’s a better fielder than most guys wearing a glove. Well done, pup.
