Goldie Hawn Is A Stabilizing Force For Kurt Russell, Says Astrology

Ah, water signs, the creative relationship-lovers of the zodiac. Both Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell can count themselves among them—and that compatibility has done wonders for their relationship, according to intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang. “With her Scorpio Sun, Goldie can be a grounding influence for Kurt [a Pisces],” says Lang. When Kurt’s ideas start running away with him, Goldie’s the person who can help him keep things in perspective.
Now, that’s not to say anyone’s ideas are getting stifled. In fact, the couple is highly imaginative because they’re both water signs and because of Neptune’s influence on their romance. Kurt’s Neptune, the planet of inspiration, is at the perfect angle from Goldie’s Midheaven—her career house.
If that weren’t enough, his Neptune is also next to Goldie’s Jupiter, the planet of spirituality and opportunity. “This shows the two lift one another up and support one another in creative work. The Neptune and Jupiter conjunction is a magical, spiritual aspect,” says Lang. And then you’ve got Goldie’s Mercury in Sagittarius which is at a great angle from Kurt’s Neptune. “If the two dream together, they can make anything happen,” says Lang.
Like every couple, Goldie and Kurt have their tough moments. But they almost always find something to laugh about to break the tension, Lang says. Goldie’s moon, which rules her feelings, is in Gemini at a 90-degree angle from Kurt’s Pisces Sun. It allows Goldie to bring a ton of wit into the relationship. “This [Gemini] influence shows the ability to laugh through conflicts and challenge one another in a way that pushes them to be their best,” Lang adds.
Nearly 40 years after their first meeting, they are now parents to four children and grandparents to seven. Goldie and Kurt are still keeping things light and bringing out the best in each other. Saturn stabilizes and challenges their relationship.
Saturn is all about commitment. "It’s the planet that relates to discipline and rules," says Lang. "Goldie’s Saturn in Cancer is in a challenging aspect with Kurt’s Venus in Aries," she explains, and it's also close to his Cancer Moon.
"[Saturn's] influence can indicate a depth of love and long-term relationships, but also it can show a tendency for where challenges might be," says Lang. Goldie grounds Kurt and his lofty dreams, a good thing, but sometimes their relationship might seem a bit parent-and-child where Goldie takes on the role of the parent. And that doesn't always work for the couple.
The Moon's influenced the home they've built together.
"Kurt’s Saturn in is in a challenging square aspect with Goldie’s Moon, which is another signature of commitment, but it shows some challenges in setting up a home together," says Lang.
She's referring to differing styles and tastes in the home, as well as expectations about the roles home life and family are meant to take on. This is not to say they can't work it out because Goldie and Kurt have. They didn't get together before they were ready to, they decided not to get married, and they've created a home and family life that works for them—regardless of what everyone else is doing. Goldie and Kurt do love their way.
The stars say that they were always meant to be.
"Goldie’s North Node destiny point is right next to Kurt’s ascendant," says Lang. North nodes are markers of what you're growing toward and going after in life and ascendents (also known as rising signs) determine your attitude and social personality. According to Lang, this is a great point of compatibility for the couple.
"We can also see this [compatibility] with the flowing relationship between Goldie’s Saturn in Cancer and Kurt’s Sun and Jupiter in Pisces," says Lang. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and prosperity. And the same way Saturn is responsible for the stability in Goldie and Kurt's relationship it also brings them a sense of familiarity. A strong presence of these two planets makes this relationship karmic, says Lang. It's as if Goldie and Kurt were destined to be together.
