Max Crocombe, a goalkeeper for Salford City in the sixth tier of English soccer, was sent off in the 86th minute of Saturday’s match vs. Bradford Park Avenue. The reason?

According to Bradford Park’s official Twitter account and other reports, Crocombe’s red card was for “urinating during the game.”

It’s unclear exactly what this “urinating during the game” entailed. Salford City, for its part, seemed pretty confused as well:

A Bradford Park Avenue secretary later clarified to the BBC: “He was told by the steward twice not to do it and he went ahead and had a pee. He went to the side of the stand as I understand it. I didn’t actually see it, but the referee definitely sent him off for it because he was alerted to it by his linesman.”

No video has emerged just yet. Salford City won the game 2-1.

In other recent soccer urination news, an Italian player was suspended five games for allegedly urinating toward fans. And a Tottenham fan peed in a cup, and handed it to his buddy to throw at West Ham fans. Crocombe, a 24-year-old goalkeeper from New Zealand, must have felt he was missing out on the fun.
