Gloria Estefan has something to say about Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's joint Super Bowl performance, and we're all ears.

Earlier this week, the seven-time Grammy winner appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and shared her thoughts about the pair's iconic performance at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show. And while she has yet to see J.Lo's telling documentary, Halftime, she's heard enough to offer her two cents about the shared gig.

For those who haven't seen J.Lo's documentary, the singer revealed that planning the big performance was a stressful process, describing it as "a nightmare from the beginning" due to her limited stage time. The film's producer, Benny Medina, even mentioned that the NFL's decision to recruit two Latinas, instead of one, felt like a low blow. He said, "It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist historically has done."

Still, Estefan believes that both singers succeeded at making the most of their performance, which included a powerful political statement about freedom. She said, "This is the bottom line, you have very little time. You have like 12 minutes or something to get things on and off the set. So could you do it [with] one person? Yes. But I think they wanted to throw a Miami and Latin extravaganza. They tried to pack in as much as possible and they killed it. An amazing show."

As it turns out, Estefan was also asked to join the duo for the halftime show, but she turned it down. She joked, "Imagine what J.Lo would've said if I would've been the third. I literally would've come out, 'Come and shake your body,' out," she said, referring to her hit song, "Conga."

As for why she turned the opportunity down, she explained, "It's their moment. They're in a whole other thing. I've done a couple of Super Bowls. I didn't want to go on a diet in December. It's Christmas!" Yep, definitely a valid reason to skip the Super Bowl.

Thankfully though, we can relive all of her previous halftime shows from 1992, 1995 and 1999. Excuse us while we take a walk down memory lane...
