Gisele Bündchen Gives a Tour of Her and Tom Brady's Boston Home

And reveals she'd like to be an interior designer or architect

For the record, if Gisele Bündchen wasn't a model, she'd like to be an interior designer, architect, or a farmer. And, if the 37-year-old supermodel wasn't married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, she probably wouldn't be living in Massachusetts. In a video released this week alongside her July 2018 cover interview, the Brazilian-born mom took Vogue on a tour of her sprawling home in Brookline, Massachusetts, and, despite the obvious differences from her homeland, it's easy to see why she's tolerated cold Boston winters for ten years.

“Why do I live here? It's called love,” Gisele said in the interview. “I love my husband. My kids were born here, in our old apartment on Beacon Street. They're little Bostonians, and they love the weather. But I'm not going to lie. Cold is not my flavor. I'm Brazilian. I'd rather live barefoot in a hut in the middle of the forest somewhere.”

Bündchen calls a wooden barn, separated by a large grassy field from the main home, her “sanctuary.” The color scheme, like in the main home and in the family's Los Angeles home, is strictly whites and sleek materials like wood, glass, and stainless steel. In the barn, Gisele works at a desk with large crystals behind her and floating shelves on either side. There are white sofas underneath the soaring rafters, and a Buddha sits in the fireplace, holding a hunk of crystal (which Bündchen says she collects). Large glass doors open up to a sprawling backyard with manicured hedges and tall trees, where the model kicks around a soccer ball, husband Brady practices his golf swing, and their children and pets can run wild.

After signing some books in her sanctuary, Gisele moves the tour into the main home, walking through a large motorcourt to enter her passcode-protected door. Potted orchids, large mirrored clocks, and colorful bottles dot the foyer and kitchen, where a large brown and stainless steel hood takes center stage. The model stands behind an oversize island while her daughter Vivian, 5, makes an adorable cameo. Also visible in the shot is what appears to be an antique food scale, likely put to use on a regular basis, since the Bradys are notoriously strict about their diets.
