Gisele Bündchen Created Her Own Word For "Stepmom"

Gisele Bündchen isn't a fan of the word "stepmom" — so she created her own version of it.

The supermodel had a Q&A session on her Instagram stories on Thursday, and when asked how it feels to be a stepmom to 12-year-old John — whom her husband Tom Brady shares with ex Bridget Moynahan —she had an unexpected response.

"I don’t like the word 'stepmom,'" she said. "I like the word 'bonus mom' because I feel like it’s a blessing in my life. I feel so lucky that I got to have an extra wonderful little angel in my life.”

Honestly? Innovative. We might be looking at the new "self-partnered" or "consciously uncoupling."

Bündchen and Brady have been married since 2009, and have two children together: Benjamin Rein, 10, and Vivian Lake, 7.

During her Q&A session, she also discussed managing family time with the couple's busy schedule.

"I think we just try our best to be present with the kids when we are with the kids," she said. "I think it’s not so much the amount of time. I think it’s the quality of time."
