Girls5eva has found itself a whole new allegiance of fans, and we literally couldn't be happier. The Tina Fey-produced comedy was recently picked up by Netflix after its initial premiere on Peacock in 2021, and since its release, viewers have been obsessed.
For some context, the Emmy-nominated series follows a one-hit-wonder 90s girl group - called Girls5eva, of course - who are looking to make a comeback after a young rapper samples their most famous track. While juggling work, spouses, kids, getting older, and the occasional shoulder pain, the entire show is a wholesome fusion of comedy, music, and feel-good telly.

Has Girls5eva season 3 been confirmed?
It's official. Girls5eva has been renewed for a third series, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, it will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
This comes after the streaming service announced that it shares the rights for the first two seasons with Peacock.
Who will star in Girls5eva season 3?
We can confirm that the OG cast (i.e the Girls5eva girls) will be returning for brand-new episodes. This means Grammy-nominated singer and actor Sara Bareilles as Dawn, Broadway star Renée Elise Goldsberry as Wickie, SNL writer and comedian Paula Pell as Gloria, and Dawson's Creek's Busy Philipps as Summer.
Other supporting cast members are also expected to reprise their roles, including:

Is there a release date for Girls5eva season 3?
Right now, Netflix has yet to announce a release date for season three. However, with the first two seasons recently dropping, we're putting two and two together and surmising that the new episodes aren't too far away.
Plus, we know that Peacock premiered seasons one and two a year apart (May 2021 and June 2022), so if Netflix continues this pattern, we could be looking at a spring/summer 2023 drop.

Is there a trailer for Girls5eva season 3?
Unfortunately, there's no season 3 trailer to be found. But if we're on the money regarding the release date, we can't imagine that it'll be long until we get a sneak peek of what we might expect.
