Girl mom crafts cheap and adorable DIY bow hanger for her daughter: ‘You need to be selling these, girl!’

When this mom crafted her daughter’s DIY bow hanger and filmed it for TikTok, she probably never expected it to become such a hit.
But at 2.1M views, it’s clear that girl mom Alex (@mapletree4.20) has a bright future in DIY and crafting ahead of her!
Alex’s video starts by listing the supplies required to make her DIY bow storage: a wooden letter, wooden slats, twine, clothespins, scissors, a glue gun, spray paint, and fake flowers.
She then begins to craft. She starts by cutting the flowers from their stems. Then, she spray paints her wooden letter and slats in the same dusty pink color. She then spray paints the clothespins a crisp white.
Once everything was dry, Alex glues the fake flowers to her letter, and glues the clothespins to the slats. She also glues and tapes some twine to the back of the letter, presumably to hang.
After that was done, Alex measures out her string, lays out her slats, and glues everything together. She then hangs the entire piece and pins all her baby’s bows — creating not just an efficient bow storage method, but also an adorable piece of room decor!
According to Alex, her hanger holds 30 bows total — but she plans on making 2 more in each of her daughter’s initials.
‘Oh I’m so doing this…’
Hundreds of parents applauded Alex’s adorable craft in the comments.

A few users loved the craft so much, they told Alex she needs to start selling them. “But do you sell them? Cause I would totally pay for this!!” said one comment.
Other users loved the craft, but had other ideas for the clothespins. “Oh I’m so doing this, but with pictures!” one user wrote.
Some users lamented that they hadn’t found Alex’s video sooner. “Where was this video 5 minutes ago? I just spent $55 on Amazon because I need one and I bought a bow organizer and unnecessary things for my baby,” one user said.
Alex’s video proves that with a little effort, a lot of love, and a decent amount of hot glue, anything is possible!
