Ice cream with a side of influenza? That was one woman’s goal, which you can tell from a recent viral video of her licking the top of a gallon of Blue Bell’s Tin Roof Ice Cream before placing it back in the freezer. It all started when Twitter user Optimus Primal posted the nine-second clip with the caption, “What kinda psychopathic behavior is this.”

The world collectively said, “SAME.” Who was this human? Which grocery store had she made the scene of her dairy destruction?

On its website, Blue Bell let consumers know that they had seen the video and were working to find the cream culprit. “This type of incident will not be tolerated,” the company continued. “Food safety is a top priority, and we work hard to provide a safe product and maintain the highest level of confidence from our consumers." It also claimed that a “natural seal” was created in a hardening room during the ice cream process in lieu of, you know, an actual sealed lid.

A tweet circulated from a since-deleted Instagram account @xx.asiaaa.xx, taking pride in the stunt. "Yeah, I really did that," xx.asiaaa.xx allegedly commented. "You can call it Flu Bell ice cream now 'cause I was a little sick last week." She also suggested others follow her licking lead, "Let’s start an epidemic (literally)."

Over the weekend, Lufkin, TX, police identified the minor in the offending video, but they will not release her name, per CBS News. She’s reportedly from the San Antonio area and could have been charged with second-degree felony tampering and up to 20 years in prison, if not for her juvenile status. In a statement, Blue Bell said, “Our staff recognized the (Walmart) location in the video, and we inspected the freezer case.” The company also said they believe they “may have recovered the half gallon that was tampered with,” however, to be certain, all Tin Roof gallons were removed from that location.

However, the sensational video, viewed by 13 million people, has already inspired yet another Blue Bell bandit—in a different state. Per ABC7 News, a 36-year-old man in Louisiana was also seen on security footage licking and poking a carton before popping it back on the shelf. Although, the man showed detectives a receipt showing he bought the carton himself.

Moral of this twisty tale: Humanity needs a new hobby.
