Girl Knew York, One of Ariana Grande’s Favorite Tattoo Artists, Is Selling Realistic Temporary Tattoos

Gianluca Russo

Thanks to a new collaboration with Inkbox, you can now get Ariana Grande-inspired tattoos from the comfort of your own home and with no needles or pain required.

Tattoo artist Mira Mariah, better known as Girl Knew York, has teamed up with Inkbox on a temporary tattoo collection that you can apply yourself at home to get some Ari-approved ink.

Mira has worked with Ari (and other celebs like Mahalia) on a handful or her pieces. If you love the sun and moon design that Ari has tatted on her hand or the branch of leaves she sports on her ribcage, then you are already into Mira's linear style.

Mira's beautiful style comes across clearly in all of the designs of the Inkbox collection, properly titled "Stay Home Knew York." Among the different tattoo designs available are ones of a mask, bath time, lysol, dessert, sleep, coffee, slippers, and more. Mira herself has already flaunted some of the temp tattoos on her 'gram and they look extremely realistic.

"These designs were all designed around romanticizing my own experience in quarantine. The little collections of magazines, indulgences, and mood were all inspired by my own experience," Mira told NYLON. Mira also shared with NYLON that for every tattoo sold, $2 would be donated to the Food Bank for New York, a charity organization helping to fight hunger in the city during this pandemic. "Creating a project that helped me reach my clientele during a time when I otherwise can't is extremely helpful, [and] helping me to support the Food Bank of NY makes this impactful in the way that I want my work to be," she added.

The collaboration between Girl Knew York and Inkbox is available for purchase now. Who says we can't have a little fun with some temporary tattoos while staying at home? I, for one, am always on board for an Ariana-approved look!

Ranging from $18 to $20 per single piece, Inkbox's temporary tattoos are meant to last up to two weeks once (properly) applied to the skin but if you're looking for some more affordable, Ari-worthy ink, Teen Vogue has you covered with the below!
