Gigi Hadid Wore Denim Bike Shorts in NYC

For all those denim lovers out there: Gigi Hadid has just made a very compelling case for bike shorts. You know the ones: made of spandex, mostly black, now filling the closets of most models and celebrities this fall? While Gigi herself has been spotted in the trend on more than one occasion, she just fashioned an outfit for an outing in New York City on Thursday afternoon wearing the trend made of denim. Paired with a matching double-breasted blazer, it was like no other Canadian tuxedo that we’ve ever seen before!

Gigi’s shorts were the star of the look, considering we’ve been looking for a chic way to take our favorite vintage cut-offs well into the fall season. They were tight, hit at mid-thigh, and boasted front and side seams. Her blazer was equal party preppy tailoring as well as utilitarian chic, with two front cargo pockets and a double-breasted closure. In her hand, she held a silver mini bag that matched her equally metallic pointed-toe pumps.

Leave it to Gigi Hadid to wear three trends at once and make it look stylish. She’s got the suiting, the bike shorts, and the denim all wrapped into one.
