There’s so much going on this year at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Bella Hadid made her official debut. Models are embracing their natural hair. And there’s been a whole new phenomenon happening backstage — sexy chair posing! But there’s some very important news that can not go unnoticed: Gigi Hadid just got her wings! The star graduated to a whole new class of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show models during the 2016 show, donning an extravagant pair of fuzzy black wings on the runway. She may not be a “technical” Angel yet, but this look is proof that she can totally handle the job next year.

Gigi made her runway debut for the brand last year, donning a sexy fireman’s look for the PINK segment with a sports bra and baggy yellow pants. Then she had an ultra-glam moment in a butterfly get-up with baby wings attached and a flowy cape. But this year she upgraded to full-fledge sexy supermodel status with a much more extravagant set.

Her first look consisted of a strappy black corset with thigh-high lace-up boots and an enormous pair of furry wings that extended from her head almost to the floor.

Her second look was more boho than boudoir featuring a colorful patterned coat and thigh-high boots with a tiny red bra and underwear.

This year is extra special for Gigi since her little sister Bella Hadid made her official debut in her own pair of sparkly “disco ball” wings.

“I can’t believe I have wings” Bella told PeopleStyle of the look at her fitting. “It’s surreal! It’s crazy.”

But leave it to their mom, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, to provide an amazing throwback photo of the sisters both donning fuzzy white wings when they were just babies.

They’ve anticipated this day for years, and clearly all their practice paid off.
