Gigi Hadid Proves Casual Airport Style Can Be Polished, Too
Gigi Hadid arrived earlier today in Paris (alongside her younger sister Bella) in a cabin-friendly ensemble that was plucked straight from the runway. Hadid jetted out of Los Angeles dressed in Sally LaPointe’s cozy, cream-colored separates, a tailored take on the tracksuits typically favored by models off-duty. Her slouchy Levi’s jacket was a cool alternative to the mannish blazers she sometimes wears to the airport (a model take on Princess Diana’s Sloane Ranger style).
Hadid’s latest designs for Vogue Eyewear protected her from the paparazzi's flashbulbs, while a Fendi duffle bag was a practical change from her typical tiny top-handle totes. A pair of Stuart Weitzman mules in the same shade as her leisure suit further pulled things together, serving as a natty alternative to kicks. The overall message was as direct as could be: casual does not mean sloppy.
