Gigi Hadid strong-arms catwalk-crasher while modeling in Chanel show

Gigi Hadid stepped in to confront a prankster who made an unprecedented appearance on the catwalk.

The supermodel was walking for Chanel at Paris Fashion Week when a spectator broke away from the audience to join the model lineup.

Wearing a tweed suit and boater hat in the style of Chanel’s namesake, Coco Chanel, the woman can be seen stepping up onto the elevated catwalk and proceeding to walk among the models. The crasher has since been identified as Marie Benoliel, popularly known as Marie S’Infiltre, a French YouTube star with 227,000 subscribers.

In footage shared by fashion journalist Booth Moore, the models proceed as normal around the catwalk despite the disruption — all but Hadid, that is.

Further footage by the Dazed Fashion Instagram account shows security guards running to intervene and remove the unwelcome guest, but Hadid got there first.

The supermodel stood in front of S’Infiltre to block her path before taking her arm and escorting her off the raised catwalk.

Models then crowded around the YouTuber as Hadid walked her off the stage.

Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel’s president, was seen laughing when it happened, according to the U.K.’s Evening Standard.

Fashion editor Carine Roitfeld also praised Hadid for her quick thinking.

This isn’t the first time S’Infiltre has crashed a show: she made her way on to the Etam catwalk last week, according to her Instagram.
