The model is now sharing pics of her baby bump ahead of her September due date.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are gearing up to become new parents next month, meaning they probably have a lot of things on their to-do list. There's preparing the nursery, picking out the perfect name, and, of course, posing for a sultry pregnancy shoot. Well, we know at least one of these is completed. On Wednesday, Gigi posted a ton of gorgeous photos showing off her bump on Instagram.
"Growing an angel," Gigi caption the first photo, which features her draped in a flowy white dress and holding her bump.
In another set of pics, Gigi is in a gauzy dress and the silhouette of her bump is very visible. "Cherishing this time," she captioned the last three photos. "Appreciate all the love & well wishes ♡ will never forget creating these special images with my friends @luigiandiango @gabriellak_j @erinparsonsmakeup thank you. I love you!"
It looks like the images were taken in July. Now, Gigi is just weeks away from giving birth to her daughter, who is due in September. Up until now, the model has been pretty private when it comes to her pregnancy. On an Instagram live last month, Gigi explained why she hasn't been posting too much about her pregnancy.
"I'm pregnant through a pandemic, like obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world," she said. "That's a reason that I felt that it's not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends. Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM [Black Lives Matter] movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that."

She did say, however, that she's been taking a lot of photos of her bump and she's been sharing them with her family and friends. "I will be sharing stuff like that in the future," she said. "I just am not rushed to do it, and I feel like right now I just want to experience it and I write in my journal a lot, and I just don't want to worry about waking up everyday during my pregnancy and like worry about having to like look cute or post something and like so, a lot of questions were about that and I just wanted to do that."
