Lip Color by Troi Ollivierre in Parker

We’ve taken a lot of beauty (and style) inspiration from the pages of the J.Crew catalog over the years. From that perfect messy ponytail to those always dewy, pink cheeks. Then of course, there is the lip color. That bright, poppy, orangey-red has been an object of our affection for a long time—and it just got a whole lot easier to copy.

Lip Color by Troi Ollivierre in George

There is George, the bright, orangey-red we all know and love, and Parker, a classic, dimensional red. If you really want to channel the J.Crew girl, go for George. It’s a vibrant shade that works on a range of skin tones and transitions seamlessly from day to night.

For Ollivierre, the formula was key in developing his collection. “It was important to make them lightweight so they felt good when they went on. You know it’s there but it feels soft and it feels good,” he says. The colors are rich and pigmented, what you see in the tube is what you’ll see on your lips.

As far as application goes, Ollivierre is a big believer in patting on your lipstick. “Sometimes you just want a little kiss. You pat it on so it looks like it’s there but it’s not so intense. It keeps it young and fresh,” he says.

Both shades are available for pre-order now and both promise to look good, whether you’re in jeans and a tee or a glittery cocktail dress.
