Get Her Look: Anna Kendrick at the MTV Movie Awards

Your super-sassy dream BFF Anna Kendrick hit the MTV Movie Awards looking so amazing we had to get the scoop on her look.
Makeup artist Vanessa Scali for Sisley-Paris, created Anna’s “cool girl, sexy” look, saying “I wanted her face to look sexy and effortless, not overdone. No hard or graphic lines with the makeup, just a wash of metallic luxury on the eyes and soft, matte skin.”
After prepping Kendrick’s skin with the Black Rose Cream Mask, Scali applied the Phyto-Teint Expert Foundation by starting at the center of the face and worked outwards for a natural look. She used Phyto-Cernes Eclat Concealer where needed, and set Anna’s skin with a light dusting of the Phyto-Poudre Libre powder. Scali gave Kendrick’s cheeks a touch of L’Orchidee Rose Blush to give the look warmth.
“I filled in her brows using a soft, ash eyebrow pencil and set them with gel,” said Scali. “Then I applied the Phyto-Eye Twist in Bronze, which is a wash of dark, bronze metallic shadow from her lash line to the crease and wrapping under the bottom lashes. This gives the skin a kick of shine which offers contrast against the soft, matte skin. I applied the Phyto-Kohl Perfect Liner in black at the lash line emphasizes and elongates the eyes and, used it in waterline, it gives the look a little edge.”
“As always, a few generous coats of the new So Curl Mascara in black on the top lashes and a touch on the bottom at the roots, define her eye without over powering the look,” Scali explained. “Lastly, I applied the Phyto-Lip Twist #1 which is a sheer, nude on the lip to finish the look.”
