George W. Bush Hilariously Photobombed His Daughter Barbara’s Wedding Photo Shoot

Former first daughter Barbara Pierce Bush had an incredibly private wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine earlier in October. Since then, she has stayed quiet about her nuptials with Craig Coyne, which only had 20 guests and was rushed so her grandfather, former president George H.W. Bush, could attend. (The bride's grandmother and namesake, Barbara Bush, died in April at 92.)

Barbara's matron of honor, sister and Today show host Jenna Bush Hager, has been sharing sweet photos from the intimate ceremony-including one featuring their father, former president George W. Bush.

On Saturday, sister Jenna Bush Hager shared a silly moment from the wedding preparations. She and Barbara posed for a photo, all while their father made a silly face in the background. “Thought this was just a simple picture of a sisterly hug,” Jenna wrote on Instagram, adding the hashtag #popsiclephotobomb.

She also shared several more photos from the wedding, from Barbara getting ready for the big day to sweet shots of the bridesmaids and former President George H.W. Bush watching all the festivities. “My heart exploded last night as I watched my dearest sissy get married in Maine,” Jenna wrote on Instagram. “It was just like her: private (only family!) and full of love (and yes lots of tears!)”
