The country legend announced the generous gift during a live show in Las Vegas.

George Strait is in the giving mood this holiday season.

The country music star, 70, made one couple's Christmas wishes come true after gifting them with a larger-than-life present during a recent show in Las Vegas.

While performing at the T-Mobile Arena on Dec. 2, Strait presented U.S. Army Sergeant Mike Husley and his wife Meaghan with a mortgage-free home.

The house was given to the Husleys by Strait via the Military Warriors Support Foundation, which presented the couple with a decorative key to their brand new home during the concert.

In a video of the life-changing moment shared to YouTube, Strait is seen greeting the military couple up on stage while CEO of the Military Warriors Support Foundation, retired Lieutenant General Leroy Sisco, told the audience a little bit about the couple.

While addressing the audience, Sisco revealed that Husley, a Purple Heart recipient, was shot in the leg and "blown up three different times" while in battle.

"He shattered his backbone, his neck and all that," Sisco is heard saying. "And for all that to be fixed, [the doctors] had to replace his hips, both of them. And he did all of that for our freedom."

"We're gonna give this hero and his family a beautiful home," Sisco happily exclaimed, while the audience erupted into cheers over the special moment.

Sisco also pointed out that Wells Fargo aided the foundation and Strait in giving the Husleys the home, as the bank donated through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

Strait—who is a veteran himself—was then congratulated for taking part in the program that has benefited more than 110 veterans so far, and to celebrate the accomplishment, the country crooner was given a custom belt with the name of each veteran he has assisted.

"God bless our heroes, God bless George Strait, God bless Texas and God bless America," Sisco concluded.

According to The Boot, Strait has served as the spokesman for the Military Warriors Support Foundation and has been awarding homes to wounded veterans and Gold Star Families for 10 years.
