The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star teamed up with Amazon to curate a shop of fitness essentials.
“I started boxing regularly right around the time I got cast in Guardians of the Galaxy," says Pratt. "It’s a great workout, it’s great cardio. Also, there’s a certain functionality to be able to throw a punch effectively and dodge a punch. If anyone ever tried to beat you up, it’s cool to have some skills. Doing mindless cardio, it’s really hard for me to maintain if I’m just on a treadmill or an elliptical. I have a background in wrestling and martial arts, and being able to spar with somebody for 5-minute rounds or hit pads, it takes a part of your brain to know what you’re doing, and that part of your brain doesn’t focus on the pain of what you’re doing.”
Blue Falcon: On Saturday, Trump tweeted that “we will not be touching your Social Security and Medicare in Fiscal 2021 Budget.” Today, he released his budget that does just that. Some other highlights include: — Cutting the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget by 26 percent — Creating strict work requirements for Medicaid and food stamps — Tightening eligibility access to disability benefits — Gutting the Children’s Health Insurance Program — Increasing defense spending And even with all these draconian cuts to social safety net programs, Trump’s budget still won’t eliminate the federal deficit over the next 10 years. This is where his and Republicans’ priorities lie: gutting programs that everyday Americans rely on so their billionaire donors can keep raking in the cash from those tax cuts. Shameful.
