The game turns serious when a 'Survivor' contestant suddenly passes out

There was a scary moment on Survivor Wednesday night when Cole suddenly fainted. He had been complaining earlier in the day about not eating enough, and he was a little shaky as he lay around camp. After he got up a little too fast, he fell down even faster. Luckily for Cole, he had a doctor and a nurse practitioner there to take care of him.

After Cole fainted, he was trying to figure out what happened. “I thought I was standing up over there, and the next thing I’m, like, dreaming or something, I don’t know,” he said. Cole claimed he was fine, but Jessica made him stay on the ground. Being a nurse practitioner, Jessica knew exactly what Cole needed. She got him some water to drink and rice to eat.

While Cole was feeling better, Jessica was feeling more feelings for Cole. “I felt bad for him. I literally just wanted to hold him,” Jessica said, “And in that moment, I realized that I really do care for him a lot more than I thought I did. I’m not ready to play this game without Cole.” Even though Florence Nightingale wasn’t ready to see her patient be discharged, the rest of the tribe wasn’t as sympathetic to Cole’s condition. Ben and Mike were chatting about voting Cole out when Ben said, “It’s good he’s not hurt, but we can’t pander and cater to him and baby him any longer.”

Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
