‘Game of Thrones’ Actress Nathalie Emmanuel Rocked Flawless Blue Lipstick at Comic-Con 2017

When it comes to lipstick people tend to stick to their classic reds, pinks, and nudes, but could blue be the latest must-have hue? If actress Nathalie Emmanuel has anything to say about it, the answer is yes. She rocked a standout pop of blue on her lips — which also matched her superhero-style cape — while on a 2017 Comic-Con Game of Thrones panel.

Aside from the amazing look of her voluminous curls, the black-and-white striped ensemble, and again, the awesome matching cape, people just couldn’t get enough of her ocean-color lippie. While the masses absolutely adored the shade on her, many felt she may be the only person who can really pull it off.

Emmanuel stole the show with her blue lipstick this time around, but many stars have been spotted wearing similar shades — and it seems that blue lipstick might be way more versatile than we previously thought. In May, actress Amandla Stenberg arrived at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards wearing an edgy deep blue lipstick. Also, more recently, model Gigi Hadid strolled the streets of NYC with an almost blue-gray version of the lip look.

Could this once-upon-a-time ’90s grunge trend be making a comeback? Only time will tell, and it looks like lots of people are already into it.

Blue might be our new favorite lip shade.
