Gabrielle Union just got her first major haircut — and you'll love her short, shaggy bob

Time for a major style shakeup? Bring. It. On.

Having sported long locks for as long as anyone can remember, Gabrielle Union finally felt the need to experience her first major haircut. Thanks to celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims, she’s now the proud — and very happy — owner of a short, rocker-chic bob that falls just below her ears.

According to the 45-year-old actress, the bob marks a milestone for her.

“[It’s the] first time I’ve ever significantly cut my OWN [versus a weave] hair and I love it,” she told Instagram followers after posting a celebratory dance video soundtracked to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.”

As if. The chop has won raves from the likes of model Arlenis Sosa and actress Nia Long, who posted appreciative comments on social media. Union’s husband, NBA star Dwyane Wade, voiced his own approval with a heart-eyed emoji, while hairstylist Sims also chimed in.

“I’m obsessed!” Sims, who has also worked with Zendaya and Tracee Ellis Ross, commented. “Thank you for always trusting me.”
