Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Kaavia, is already working the camera at the ripe age of 8 months.
Yesterday, Kaavia made her awards show debut at the 2019 Kids’ Choice Sports Awards in Santa Monica, California. She attended the event alongside her parents, who carried her along her first-ever red orange carpet.
When they arrived, the threesome posed for family photos. While the baby wore a white sundress with matching sandals, Union opted for a peacock-patterned dress by Antonio Berardio. Wade donned a casual short suit and sneakers.
In a total badass parent move, the couple admitted that they brought Kaavia’s favorite snack—Puffs—for bribing purposes. “She loves the Puffs, so we gave them to her right before she got out of the car,” Wade told Us Weekly.
Union and Wade started dating in 2009. The former NBA star popped the question in 2013, and the couple tied the knot in a lavish Miami wedding one year later. In November 2018, they welcomed their first child via surrogate.
Guess Kaavia can cross “first awards show” off her to-do list.
