Gabrielle Union Dressed Like a '90s Heartthrob While Wearing a Surprising Face Mask
She Instagrammed a photo of herself wearing a mask while dressed like a '90s heartthrob.
On Monday, Governor Cuomo released a PSA featuring Paul Rudd asking millennials to wear a face mask while describing them as "totally beast" and insisting that "caring about other people is the new not caring about other people." He's not wrong. But it's sad to think a video like this is even necessary when, as Rudd himself even says, hundreds of people are dying and it's simple. It's science. Just wear a damn mask. And yet the pandemic still rages on.

Gabrielle Union seems to have been inspired by the former '90s heartthrob and Instagrammed a photo of herself wearing a mask while dressed like a '90s heartthrob, too. There wasn't any out-dated slang or skateboards involved but Michelle Obama was, which is even better.
Union was wearing a Marrakshi Life striped long-sleeve polo shirt that looks exactly something Paul Rudd's character in Clueless would have in his closet. She paired it with a simple black face mask that had that words VOTE written on it. Union thanked Michelle Obama and the When We All Vote organization for the mask while reminding her followers to make a plan to vote this fall. And while Cuomo didn't commission this Instagram, he'd definitely approve of the messaging.
Considering making a plan to Vote is probably the only plan you'll make for the rest of the year, there's no excuse to not get started now. If you're not sure what to wear, Union's Paul-Rudd-in-the-'90s polo look is the perfect solution.
