From Town & Country

While we were mourning the demise of Barneys last fall, there was a retail glimmer of hope shining down in Soho. Redemption, the ultra-cool girl brand founded by Gabriele Moratti (son of Milan's former mayor Letizia Moratti), had opened its first U.S. store in lower Manhattan.

This isn't merely a little boutique. The cavernous space's interiors were done by Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino and his eponymous design studio, and it's a 4,000-square-foot statement that retail—for the lucky few—is far from dead.

For our Connoisseur column, Moratti spoke to T&C about the products, designs, and places he loves, trusts, and uses everyday.
