The 2021 Apple TV 4K is on sale for Amazon Prime Day, with prices on the the 32GB version slashed from $180 to $109 and from $199 to $129 on the 64GB version. The TV is a customer favorite, too, with a 4.8-star average user rating on Amazon and more than 9,000 customers giving it 5-star reviews.
“If you liked the previous generation of the AppleTV, the original 4K, then you will like this new iteration,” one reviewer said on Amazon, noting the upgraded remote as one of its major selling points.
Whether you're looking to cozy up on your couch, invite friends over for a night of gaming, or watch TV outside, the 2021 Apple TV 4K TV is equipped with an A 12 Bionic chip that boosts audio, video, and graphics for solid game and app experiences. One lithium ion battery is required to power the TV, but it's included when you purchase it.
As for the sound system, the TV comes equipped with a Dolby Atmos for sound that is immersive and fills the room. Alternatively, up to two sets of AirPods can connect to the TV for a private listening experience. You can also use Apple's AirPlay functionality to share photos, videos, and other media from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac on your TV.
It's important to note that the TV is essentially a computer. While the 2021 Apple TV 4K comes with the unit itself, a Siri remote with a touch-enabled click pad, a power cord and a lightning USB cable, the monitor has to be purchased separately.
