Funko To Enter Gaming in New Partnership with 10:10 Games

Funko, a contemporary collectible label made famous by its Pop vinyl figurines, is moving into the gaming domain in collaboration with 10:10 Games, led by former Traveller’s Tales and TT Games founder Jon Burton. Within the partnership, the culture and lifestyle brand will launch an AAA Action Platformer in 2023.

“By partnering with 10:10 Games and utilizing the best creators in the business, we will have the talent to deliver games that reflect Funko’s unique look and feel across its lines and varied products," Funko CEO Andrew Perlmutter said in a statement.

This isn't Funko's first time in the gaming space — the company previously worked with Microsoft on the now-discontinued Gears Pop! mobile game. Notably, the brand's 10:10 Games partnership will mark its first time working on the production side of a video game title.

“Creating iconic products that emotionally connect fans to their favorite fandoms is critical to each product portfolio decision,” Perlmutter added.

Funko has not yet set an official release date for its AAA Action Platformer. Watch the official announcement trailer for Funko's partnership with 10:10 Games above.

Elsewhere in gaming, the hit indie title Papers, Please is finally coming to mobile.
