Fun places civilians can visit on Fort Bragg

Civilians with no military sponsor or Department of Defense identification card can still find places to visit on Fort Bragg.

Here’s what to know and where to go.

According to Fort Bragg’s website, visitors without valid DOD identification “must first stop at the All American Visitor Control Center to obtain a pass.”

The center is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week.

Valid registration is also needed to bring a personal vehicle on post.

“Visitors must have valid ID and a valid reason for access,” the site states. “A complete background check will be conducted by security and a temporary one-day pass will be issued.”
