‘Full House’ Fans, John Stamos Posted a Never-Before-Seen Clip of the Olsen Twins on TikTok

John Stamos enjoys going down memory lane and sharing anecdotes about working with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on Full House. But it's rare to see him show off documented moments from that era, which is why fans freaked out over a new video he shared on TikTok.

In a new clip posted on the social media platform, the Grandfathered star gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the Olsen twins. Timestamped around the start of the sitcom's third season in August 1989, folks see the young girls hanging out in a dressing room ahead of taping. With John heard from behind the camera, he tried to convince the then-3-year-old girls to say his name. But in a hilarious twist of events, the duo couldn't get on the same page about what his real identity was.

"What is it?" John called out to the girls, as one yelled out, "Jesse!" and the other replied,"John." What's more, he captioned the May 13 post with the phrase, "Say my name."

As John went into the vault to post this never-before-seen video, folks commented on how much they appreciated the upcoming If You Would Have Told Me author for sharing it online.

"Omg soooo cute!!!! Full House will forever be my favorite show!! 🥹🥰🫶🏼," one person wrote. "The way I’m rewatching full house and this comes up 😭😭😭😭," a different follower replied. "The way one of them called him Jesse 🥹," another added.

While John certainly surprised his followers with this adorable moment with the Olsen twins, it wasn't always so. Over the years, he has mentioned how he tried to get Mary-Kate and Ashley fired from Full House over the fact they couldn't stop crying.

"I said, 'This is not going to work, guys,' and I screamed it 10 times," he told former co-star Josh Peck on his Good Guys podcast. "I said, 'Get rid of them, I can't work like this.'"

Luckily, he had a change of heart and it led to one of the most heartfelt familial relationships seen on television. Crossing our fingers that we'll see the trio back together for a real-time post sometime in the future.
