Frank Fritz is ready to get back to work. His exit from American Pickers has been surrounded by drama, including the scathing statements he made about Mike Wolfe, and the responses from Wolfe and costar Danielle Colby.
History Channel has confirmed that Fritz will not be returning to the show, but has not offered any further comment on the situation. Despite all of the drama, Frank told The Sun that he'd be "more than happy" to return to American Pickers. He's also interested in starring on a different show.
“Thousands of people want me back, they’ve got a petition to get me back on the show. I could go either way and find a new show, have something new and have just as much fun. That’s what it’s all about, being satisfied with yourself and having a little bit of fun. I do think I’m in the mode right now to get picked up. I’m in the position now where if there was a show or something, they could pick me up. They know I can work 15 hours a day, they know I can work seven days a week. They know I have been working for 10, 12 years and that I have the capabilities and the qualities to do it. I was talking to one of the guy’s on the show and he was saying it would be a total loss if I don’t keep going or get something rolling. He was saying ‘You’re such a talented person, you need to do a lot of different things.' And looking at Facebook, I guess people are really outraged about where I’m at right now.”
He does seem to have a point. The comment section of the show's most recent Instagram post is filled with calls for Frank's return.
The post promotes the show's newest episode with the caption, "#AmericanPickers is all new tonight at 9/8c and here is just a sample of some of the insanely cool items found during the pick!"
One commenter said, "NOT THE SAME WITHOUT FRANK!!!" and another wrote, "Your fans want Frank back. Why don't you listen to us?" One viewer said, "Don’t like the show without Frank!!"
We'll stay tuned to see how this all works out!
