French first lady Brigitte Macron and French President Emmanuel Macron welcome a few surprise guests to the Elysée Palace in Paris this week.

As seen on the musician’s Instagram, Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin greeted the French figures yesterday in bold style. For the occasion, Brigitte herself kept with her signature first lady style in a glowing white shift dress and coordinating peacoat. Her outfit also included pointed-toe pumps with a tan leather finish and a lifted stiletto heel.

As for the Biebers, the model and her singer hubby showed off their elevated taste in coordinating attire. Baldwin’s look featured a cutout knit dress with a halter silhouette while Bieber decided on a pinstripe suit and a collared dress shirt.

When it came down to footwear, both members of the couple went for trending elements of their own choosing. The “Baby” singer decided on a Nike Dunk Low in what resembles the “University Blue” colorway, a style that resells for upwards of $450 at GOAT.

Baldwin’s own pick highlighted a slick leather-like colorway atop a pointed toe and stiletto heel, all with a thin wrapping strap. Titled the Luce Minimale silhouette, the heels come from one of the model’s favorite brands: Femme LA; the vegan sandals measure 4.5 inches in height and retail for just $189.

When it comes to the French first lady herself, Brigitte Macron makes her own fashion headlines as she tends to tap Louis Vuitton for everything from clothing to shoes and accessories. With footwear, specifically, she leans toward pointed-toe pumps with a stiletto or block heel usually around 4 inches high. The Eyeline silhouette from the French fashion powerhouse remains one of her favorites, of course, but she also frequents the graphic-print Matchmake pump and booties. The educator lives up to the style motifs of her native France, opting for layered looks and perfectly tailored pieces that keep up with the nation’s style aesthetic: chic, clean and understated.
