Frame’s New Collection Includes $11,995 Jeans

Frame’s new capsule collection with British Vogue fashion director, Julia Sarr-Jamois, includes an $11,995 pair of jeans.

The lavish offering shows how denim brands are cooking up attention-grabbing pieces to create a halo effect for their whole collections. Boasting more than 50,000 iridescent chocolate brown Swarovski crystals, the low-slung, straight leg jean is “the most luxurious denim currently on the market,” according to Frame. The pièce de resistance took 120 hours to make.

The limited-edition, 19-piece capsule collection is inspired by Sarr-Jamois’ eclectic style, featuring bold colors, earthy textures and tie-dye prints.

The collaboration came about last year while friends and now collaborators Sarr-Jamois and Erik Torstensson, Frame co-founder, were on holiday in Ibiza. “A longtime dream of Sarr-Jamois’, she is excited to explore fashion and what it means to express yourself stylistically, playing with genre, texture, and color,” the brand stated.

A range of artisanal crochet pieces keeps the holiday vibe going. It includes a crochet string bikini, halter mini dress, bucket hat, earrings, and a handmade beaded tote.

Tie-dye brings a youthful jolt of color to a silk camisole dress, an oversized PJ-style set, a hand-knit cardigan, and fluid-feel basketball shorts that Frame said are “typical of Sarr-Jamois’ elevated casualwear meets high fashion aesthetic.”

A pair of camouflage print cargo pants nods to the ongoing utility trend in women’s bottoms.

The collection is available now on Frame’s website and global stores. It’s also available at Selfridges, Net-a-Porter, Bongenie Switzerland, Bergdorf Goodman, By George and Hampden.
