The Florida resort is known for being the go-to luxury option for discerning guests visiting Walt Disney World, and while spending even longer in the parks on a busy vacation sounds draining, Extra Magic Hours are quite the opposite. Rides and attractions close down to everyone except guests of specific hotels, allowing for smaller crowds and shorter lines during select mornings and evenings at Disney’s four Orlando theme parks. Consider it your exclusive “bonus time” at Walt Disney World, a perk that can dramatically offer more value to your price of admission.
The benefit of Extra Magic Hours can be especially helpful around new openings — like the debut of Toy Story Land this summer — and for boarding Disney World’s most popular rides, like Flight of Passage and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, more speedily.
Morning and evening Extra Magic Hours were previously only available to guests at Walt Disney World-operated hotels, but privileges were extended to seven Disney Springs-area resorts earlier this year. While those resorts and Disney’s own hotels offer 60-day FastPass+ booking windows, at this time, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort still offers 30-day booking, but it’s still worth a stay. With an oasis-like adult pool, full-fledged kid’s waterpark and refined amenities from an on-site spa and departure lounge to private coach bus transportation to the parks, it’s easily one of the best — if not the top — hotel in Orlando.
