Nikola Jokic has a four-game week full of favorable matchups, making him one of the best options at center for your Week 2 fantasy games.
STEVE ALEXANDER: Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have a four-game schedule in week two of the fantasy season. And Jokic has some tasty matchups.
He's already had young-gun Christian Wood. He gets Richaun Holmes of the Kings. He gets Deandre Ayton of the Suns, who has had his struggles this year. And he plays against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who might be without Karl-Anthony Towns, who suffered a wrist injury.
If that's the case, Jokic should feast on Naz Reid-- yes, Naz Reid; looks like the starting center for the Timberwolves, at least for the foreseeable future. We don't know how long KAT's going to be out. But until then, it's Reid's show.
So Jokic in two games this year is already averaging 12 boards, 12 assists, a block, and a 3-pointer. He's one rebound shy of having back-to-back triple-doubles to start the year. And somehow, yet, the Nuggets are 0 and 2 to start the season. It just doesn't make sense.
But Jokic has great matchups this week. He's going to continue to go nuts. Make sure he's in your lineup. And look for the Denver Nuggets to get back to their winning ways this week.
