Four charged, two at large in Middlesex pharmacy burglary

Three men have been charged in connection with a shooting that took place Friday on Easton Avenue, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Vincent Sabo of the New Brunswick Police Department.

MIDDLESEX BOROUGH – Two men were arrested and four were charged in a burglary of more than $25,000 at Boro Hall Pharmacy last month, said Middlesex Police Chief Matthew Geist.

Luis Jaquez, 22, and Eric Rodriguez, 26, both of New Brunswick, were arrested and charged with burglary through forcible entry, theft, conspiracy to commit burglary, and criminal mischief. Jaquez also was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and burglary tools, said Geist.

Jose Taveras, 29, of New Brunswick, and Fernando Azcone, 27, of Hightstown, were charged with burglary through forcible entry, conspiracy to commit burglary, and criminal mischief. Taveras and Azcone remain at large, said Geist.

Jaquez and Rodriguez were at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending a detention hearing, according to the chief.
