The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is *officially* back on Sept. 5 for another sure-to-be bizarre and drama-filled season of reality television. Yup. Utah's first ladies are already gearing up for a jam-packed season 4 with snowflakes in hand.

In case you missed last season's chaos, here are some highlights: Whitney Rose went on a healing journey after resurfacing childhood trauma, cousins Whitney and Heather Gay are on the outs for reasons that remain a bit fuzzy, and Heather’s mysterious black eye was the result of a long night of drinking that she doesn’t really remember. So...also fuzzy.

That's not all, though. Former BFFs Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks are still fighting (understandably so, as Lisa did have a pretty bad hot mic moment during season 2). And Jen Shah was officially sentenced to prison time for her role in a telemarketing scam that targeted the elderly. She’s currently serving a 6.5-year sentence at Bryan Prison Camp in Texas, where Theranos' Elizabeth Holmes is also serving her sentence.

This all leads us at the present day, where the ladies have filmed and wrapped a brand new season. With the premiere on September 5, you bet there are plenty of details you should know before you start watching. Here's the deal:

Who is in the RHOSLC cast for season 4?

It seems the crew is (mostly) getting back together again for season 4. Expect to see familiar faces like Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, and Lisa Barlow back on the screen. And yes, Mary Cosby will be returning as well, but more on that in a sec.

Who isn’t returning for season 4?

Well, Jen Shah is in prison. So, she will not be taking part in season 4. If RHONJ queen Teresa Guidice can’t get Bravo to film beyond bars, the odds don’t look good for Jen, either. Plus, sadly, Angie Harrington, and Danna Bui-Negrete, who appeared as "friends" last season will not be returning, either.

Who is joining the cast in season 4?

The rumors are true! Former housewife Mary Cosby is confirmed to return, but only as a "friend" of the cast this time around. Still, everyone is in for a special treat! This woman is chaotic, brings the drama, films 75 percent of her scenes in her closet, and everyone just generally loves watching what happens when she's around. Apparently, this season, Mary "struggles to find her footing and contemplates the future of her relationships within the group." I guess everyone will see how that turns out...

Mary was a no-show at the season 2 reunion, and then never reappeared for season 3. At the time, it was unclear if she skipped because she didn't want to face tough question at the reunion or just left for some other reason. And she still hasn't weighed in on the debate, so let's just table that for now.

Angie Katsanevas, who had "friends of" status last season, has been bumped up to a full time cast member, per DEADLINE. In case you don't remember who this person is, she owns a bunch of hair salons in the area with her husband.

Monica Garcia will also join the show for season 4 as a "friend of" Angie. She's currently raising four children on her own, going through a divorce with her husband, and running her own business, per Bravo. Sounds like perfect "housewife" material if you ask me. The new cast member is also apparently "opinionated, and never afraid to speak her mind," which I'm sure will bode well with the other women.

When did filming happen?

It certainly feels like this season has crept up. Apparently, filming for Season 4 took place between February and May 2023. That left a few months for production to put the episodes together, and now, a masterpiece awaits.

What happens this season?

I'm glad you asked. In case you didn't notice, Mary Cosby's return is pretty seamlessly with Jen's exit—which probably isn't an accident, as the two women have had some beef in the past. The returning RHOSLC member does, however, have a very close friendship with Meredith—so I'm hopeful for some nice, heartwarming moments this season.

Meredith is absolutely thriving this season, while Lisa attempts to get back on her good side. However, it seems like it'll be an uphill battle, per DEADLINE. As for the newbie Monica, the women seem to quickly accept her into their ranks (what with the whole ex-Mormon thing to help her find common ground).

Things start out smooth for new full-time cast member Angie, until someone leaks information her relationship with her husband. I'll let you guess who the culprit might have been.

And as for Heather, she's doing well after the success of her book, and it looks like she and Whitney will continue their beef with Meredith.

Is there a trailer?

Yup. There's a lot of drama about to go down this season—everything from marital issues to Mormon missions. See for yourself:

When will 'RHOSLC' season 4 air?

The Salt Lake City housewives will be back on everyone's screens on Tuesday, September 5, at 9pm EST. So far, the streamer has released details on only three more episodes, which air on Sept. 12, Sept. 19, and Sept. 26. Let the anticipation begin.

Until then, catch up with your favorite chaotic Utah crew on Peacock.
