Top-ranking Nxivm member Lauren Salzman was sentenced to time-served and won't go to prison for her involvement.
Salzman previously pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy charges and testified against Nxivm leader Keith Raniere.
Salzman will serve five years of probation and 300 hours of community service.

Salzman, who pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy charges in the Nxivm case and testified against leader Keith Raniere, was sentenced on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York told CNN that Salzman was given five years of probation and 300 hours of community service.
Salzman has spent several years in home confinement after being charged in the case.
Salzman recruited Nxivm women into a secret sex-slave sorority
Salzman, the daughter of top-ranking Nxivm nurse and hypnotist Nancy Salzman, recruited women to the sex-slave ring DOS.
After Salzman and Raniere began a secret sexual relationship in 2001, she started to recruit women to DOS and played a leadership role alongside Allison Mack, who was sentenced to three years in prison for her role in the cult in June.
DOS is a Latin acronym meaning "Dominus Obsequious Sororium," which translates to "master over slave women," Insider previously reported.
Raniere, who was sentenced to 120 years in prison, created the secret group within Nxivm, where women were branded with his initials and some were manipulated into being Raniere's sex slaves, CBS reported, citing 2015 court filings.
According to former Nxivm and DOS member India Oxenberg, she was told to stand outside in the cold at 3 a.m., eat between 500 and 800 calories daily, and read hours of Raniere's work each day.
Salzman was first introduced to Nxivm and leader Raniere through her mother, who co-founded the group and helped shape its teachings, Insider previously reported.
