Ford Fiesta spotted on road with greenhouse strapped to roof

Motorists were left scratching their heads when they spotted a car with a greenhouse on its roof.

The Ford Fiesta driver was filmed carefully making his way along Bolton Road, in Marland, Rochdale.

It seemed like his tiny car could topple over at any moment but he managed to keep his vehicle on the road.

The greenhouse shell also came close to hitting overhead telegraph wires.

Darcy Maher filmed the strange incident and uploaded the video on Facebook.

Everyone else was just as stunned as he was.

Another person added: “Someone getting the greenhouse effect mixed up with green power solar panels.”

A user said the driver was not doing anything wrong as long as everything was secure.

They said: “Odd yes but technically he isn’t breaking any laws, he isn’t oversize or overweight and as long as it’s secured. If it’s on it’s gone.”

Another viewer was baffled by his decision, writing: “Ffs, you couldn't believe it unless you saw it.”
