Food Network star Valerie Bertinelli is taking to TikTok to share her feelings.

Six months after she legally separated from husband Tom Vitale, People reported in May that the Valerie's Home Cooking host filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage. Amid the split, she appears to be giving followers an insight into how she's doing.

In May 2022, the cookbook author posted an emotional TikTok video where she seemingly gave advice to her fans about living through a breakup. "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the very first time," the Hot in Cleveland actress said in the short clip while quoting famed poet Maya Angelou. "Don't try to change to fix anything. Don't try to change them — it's not your job."

Valerie recently spoke out about her impending divorce during an appearance on Hoda and Jenna, where she told Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager about why she's choosing to share her emotions with the world.

"When I do say it out loud and so many people reach out and say ‘Oh I feel the same way.’ I feel like I’m doing it in a selfish way because it makes me feel not so alone," Valerie told them in early June. "It makes me feel better to be able to get all of the mess out of my mouth and it doesn’t sit here.”

No matter what though, the Enough Already: Learning to Love the Way I Am Today author's fans are completely supporting her. In fact, when she posted the TikTok, they quickly rallied around her to give her a (virtual) shoulder to cry on.

"You're gonna be just fine! you are beautiful, strong, talented. Do your thing gf!" one follower wrote. "I’m right there with you sweet girl!!! We live and we learn - the people in our lives are either a blessing or a lesson…. Or both!" another lovingly responded. And it's clear Valerie's making an impression, as a follower replied, "You are SO RIGHT Valerie. You have always been so inspirational to me I just wanted to say thank you for helping me when I needed someone 🥰🥰🥰."

Despite going through a divorce, Valerie appears to be enjoying her time posting various TikToks to interact wit her fans. She's definitely exploring her newfound love of the social media platform with some pretty hilarious videos. Check one of them out here:
