Food Network Fans Bombard Valerie Bertinelli's Instagram After Dropping Shocking News

Get ready, Food Network fans. Valerie Bertinelli has been busy cooking up something special, and it will be in your hands soon enough.

Less than a week after the culinary star announced the end of her cooking show Valerie's Home Cooking, she gave a sneak peek at her next big career venture. In a video uploaded to Instagram, she revealed that she's been working on her third cookbook set to publish sometime next year. What's more, the 63 year old shared her experience of submitting the first draft of her upcoming work with her followers.

"I'm sitting in front of my computer. I've just finished writing my editor an email and it has my third cookbook attached," the One Day at a Time alum said on April 12. "I'm about to press send and I'm really nervous! I'm really proud of this book, so here we go! I'm gonna press send ... There it goes!"

Despite Valerie's apprehension, fans were ecstatic to see her expanding her impressive résumé with another cookbook. Many immediately took to the comments to celebrate, sharing how excited they were over the news.

"Congratulations 🎊 you are amazing and looking forward to the [third] cookbook 👏👏," one person wrote on Instagram. "I just love you! Your cookbook will be great and can’t wait to get it!" a different user agreed. "Can’t wait to add the cookbook to my collection!!!" another added.

As the Hot in Cleveland actress mentioned in her Instagram post, her new culinary read will be the third in her cookbook series. She released her debut title One Dish at a Time: Delicious Recipes and Stories from My Italian-American Childhood and Beyond back in October 2012, followed by her second book Valerie's Home Cooking: More Than 100 Delicious Recipes to Share With Friends and Family in October 2017.

For those wondering if Valerie is leaving Food Network completely, fear not. While her solo cooking show is done for now, she will continue being a judge on the food competition series Kids Baking Championship. The upcoming season 12 will mark her eighth year being a star on the show.
