Every shelter dog adjusts in their own way, and it's easy to see why many pets struggle with the change. Shelters can be loud, lonely, and downright scary! But they can also be places where people who care will help these dogs find forever homes.

Finding a home for former stray dog Ice Cube shouldn't be difficult, though. This precious Pit Bull is always smiling, and he couldn't be happier to see his human friend from @humanebroward! The animal shelter's August 18 video shows just how perky this pup is.

What a happy boy! It's impossible not to smile while watching this dog wiggle his whole body with excitement, don't you think? He seems so joyful to see his human friend that a tail wag just won't cut it!

As the Humane Society of Broward County explains in the video, Ice Cube was found as a stray dog, so they don't know much about his history. They do know that he's adjusted well to being in the shelter, but it's no secret that he'll adjust even better to a forever home.

The Humane Society of Broward County is located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and you can go there to meet Ice Cube if you're in the area. Don't forget to submit an adoption application, though! You'll need to complete the paperwork before you can adopt a pet, but you can do so any day of the week. Like any shelter, this shelter will be thrilled to help you find out if you're the right fit for any of its residents. Whoever is the right fit for Ice Cube is going to be the luckiest dog owner on the planet!
