Florence Pugh has been on *fire* these last few years. From her roles in Black Widow to Don't Worry Darling, the 26-year-old actor has been going from strength to strength, and she's showing no signs of curbing her momentum.

Most recently, though, she's starred in Netflix's new drama and mystery film, The Wonder, and fans are all saying the exact same thing - that she delivered the most exceptional performance.

For some context, the film is set in a remote Irish village in 1862. (ICYMI, Pugh is no stranger to period dramas - she starred in the Little Women adaptation alongside Emma Watson and Meryl Streep back in 2019.) Playing the role of Elizabeth "Lib" Wright, an English nurse, the film follows her journey after she is summoned to the village to observe an eleven-year-old child, Anna O'Donnell, who has claimed to have survived without eating for several months.

For those who haven't watched it, then why not? But for those who have, it's no surprise that Twitter has already gone wild for the film, especially when it comes to Pugh's appearance.

"The Wonder is here! Fasten your seatbelt, Florence Pugh will show you what a real movie is!" one viewer said, as another commended her acting skills, writing, "Watching The Wonder tomorrow because Florence Pugh is in it and she always delivers."

They weren't the only ones who had something to say about the Hawkeye actor, either. A further fan couldn't praise the film or Florence's appearance enough. "The Wonder: Yet another stunning performance from Florence Pugh in a period drama with an absorbing atmosphere, an eerie musical score, stunning cinematography and a deliberately paced, but nonetheless engaging story about the everlasting conflict between science and religion," they wrote.

A different viewer also took to the social media platform to share their adoration for the actor, mentioning how Florence pulled it out of the bag for the Olivia Wilde-directed and Harry Styles-starring film, too. "Just Florence Pugh delivering back-to-back astonishing lead performances in ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ and ‘The Wonder’", they typed.

All we're going to say is they're not wrong. The Wonder is streaming now on Netflix.
