Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead wowed us with their amazing designs in season nine of Flip or Flop. They also made us laugh with their silly antics and playful jabs at one another (remember when Haack told El Moussa he looked like a "bald kitten?"). Luckily, the fun isn't over: HGTV announced today in a press release that Flip or Flop will return with five new episodes starting beginning Thursday, April 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The network noted that these episodes will be a continuation of season nine, which originally premiered on HGTV on October 15, 2020. The last new episode of season nine aired in January of this year. Now, after a short hiatus, the final five episodes will air, ending the season with 15 episodes. El Moussa took to Instagram to share the good news.

Alongside a photo of him with co-star Christina Haack, El Moussa let fans in on what they can expect during these new episodes. "I know I’m a little biased but this season is the best one we’ve had so far," he wrote. The flips are better, the transformations are insane," he revealed, adding that fans can expect to see behind-the-scenes moments with himself, Haack, their two children, and.... his fiancée, Heather Rae Young.

Love knowing what your favorite HGTV stars are up to? Same. Let’s keep up with them together.

If this were to happen, this would be the first time Young has ever appeared on Flip or Flop. As a refresher, El Moussa and Haack were married from 2009 to 2016. They started this show as husband and wife and continued to film after their divorce, keeping their personal lives, with the exception of their kids, off-camera.

Furthermore, Haack also took to Instagram to promote the new episodes and left an interesting detail on her post. After noting the premiere date of this next installment, she wrote: "And... Don’t worry... after this season I’m sure we will still be around. The show that never ends."

A few fans commented on the post in response to Haack's remark. "Please don’t end. I love this show. Your ideas are amazing," one fan wrote. Another one wrote: "I don't want it to end ever!!! Love your friendship so much fun!!!"

What does this mean exactly? TBD. We're just excited to see stunning home makeovers from our fave home renovation experts.
