Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos Are Returning To Taco Bell After A 2-Year Hiatus
Around here, we absolutely love a comeback, especially when it involves fan-favorite menu items returning to our favorite chain restaurants. Over the last year, we've seen quite a few of these menu items come and go, but thankfully one of the most beloved—Taco Bell's Flamin' Hot Doritos Locos Tacos—is finally coming back to drive-thrus near you.
The taco's comeback coincides with the NBA finals and is a revamped version of Taco Bell's recurring "Steal A Game, Steal A Taco" promotion that takes place throughout different sporting events and leads to free tacos for all. This time, the deal will be automatically rewarded to everyone in America when a comeback occurs during the basketball finals. That means whenever a team losing at halftime comes back to win the game, you'll be eligible for a free taco from Taco Bell.
To make the freebie even more exciting, the promo is also timed with the return of the Flamin' Hot Doritos Locos Tacos for a limited time, so fans can opt for a free Flamin' Hot taco whenever a comeback occurs. If you're unfamiliar, the taco features a Flamin' Hot hard shell that adds extra spice and is stuffed with ground beef, lettuce, and cheese. It's also worth noting that the likelihood of a comeback happening, and therefore triggering the deal, is pretty high; it’s happened in seven of the last 10 NBA Finals.
Here's hoping luck is on our side and Flamin' Hot DLTs will soon be in our hands.
