Timothée Chalamet is a heartthrob in his own right and the actor had the Internet in a total uproar after posting a sneak peak of him in costume for his upcoming role as Willy Wonka. Wonka will detail the origin story behind the quirky chocolatier and is the first film adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic without the character Charlie Bucket.

The actor took to Instagram to drop the first photos seemingly from the movie set. "The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last ...🏭WONKA🍫," he wrote in the caption. Timothée is seen wearing Wonka's signature maroon overcoat and top hat; a second photo shows a close up of his hand reaching toward what looks like Wonka's magical walking stick.

As is true with almost everything Timothée posts online, the comment section went wild. Fellow actor Kiernan Shipka wrote a relatable "OH MY GOD" and Rebel Wilson reacted with a simple "All about this x". Fan accounts, of course, chimed in with their approval of the sneak peek saying things like "HELP" and "Can I be your Oompa Loompa?" So yeah, I love the Internet.

Right now, an expected release date for Wonka has been set for March 2023, and Timothée and company are currently filming in the small town of Lyme Regis in England, according to to the BBC. We can only hope more behind-the-scenes content is in our future. (A girl can dream, right?!) Wonka will be the third Willy Wonka film, following 2005's reprise starring Johnny Depp and the original 1971 classic with Gene Wilder.
