First 'Daddy's Home 2' clip portrays the profound perils of fiddling with the thermostat (exclusive)
DON’T FIDDLE WITH THE THERMOSTAT.
That’s the overriding message at the heart of the hilarious first clip from the upcoming sequel, Daddy’s Home 2, which you can watch exclusively above.
Paramount’s follow-up to its 2015 holiday hit introduces the daddies of daddies Brad (Will Ferrell) and Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) — and, as played by John Lithgow and Mel Gibson, respectively, they’re living proof that the apple doesn’t fall from the tree.
In the scene here, the foursome is on a holiday cabin retreat with the kids when the nightmare begins: someone’s fiddled with the thermostat, leaving the guys in sweat-drenched states of panic.
“The thermostat is a sacred covenant,” Brad bewilderedly proclaims. “I can’t believe we’re even talking about this. This is MADNESS.”
The madness continues when Daddy’s Home 2 hits theaters Nov. 10.
